Oops - we did it again!
Wow! For the second year in a row SoCalSunshine Productions has been rated by local brides and voted “The Knot Best of Weddings 2008/2009 Pick!” Please pick up a copy of The Knot Best of Weddings 2009 magazine and check out our listing. This is such an honor for us because this award is based on the reviews of our past ~wonderful~ clients and we thank each and every one of you who took the time to review our products and services. We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with such great couples. We are looking forward to all the upcoming beautiful weddings this year, and you bet we will do our very best to make it a three-peat!

Nicole & Jim - March 21, 2009
What a great photo shoot we had with Jim, a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton and Nicole, Miss Huntington Beach 2005, or as we like to call them, “The Marine and the Beauty Queen.” Jim is a cowboy at heart, coming from the wide open spaces of Texas, so we decided to venture into this wide open desert setting of Joshua Tree National Park for their engagement session. We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful day to photograph this beautiful couple, and speaking of beautiful – check out the sunset we were blessed with! It was truly a pleasure to spend the afternoon these two and we are looking forward to their upcoming wedding!

Lizette & Matt - March 14, 2009
Lizette and Matt are high school sweethearts who are tying the knot in November. We headed over to UCI (which is a special place to them) for a few shots. We really enjoyed shooting on this campus, where we found both a park setting, as well as some really nice architecture that made a great backdrop for these photos. A little later, we went over to the high school where the first embers of their love began to glow. You can see the fire burning brightly in their eyes for each other now, and we are so honored to be a part of their special day!

Brittany & Jonathan - March 1, 2009
Finally! After postponing Brittany & Jonathan’s engagement session twice (once because of the fires and again because of rain) we finally got to do it on Sunday! This was our first time shooting at East Lake in Yorba Linda and I really hope it won’t be our last. It’s a beautiful little lake surrounded by charming homes and gorgeous landscaping. The ducks seemed to love it there as well. Brittany & Jonathan’s wedding is coming up in just under three months, and we are almost as excited as they are…almost. We know, if this photo shoot is any indication, that their wedding pictures will be out of this world (check back in early June!)
