What started as a rainy Saturday morning developed into a stunningly beautiful day for a wedding. At the quaint Community Church in Corona Del Mar, with blue skies sparkling overhead, Danielle and TJ promised, in the presence of their family and friends, to love each other for all eternity. After the ceremony, we all headed over to the elegant Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, where in the wood-paneled library, TJ and Danielle demonstrated their differences in their preference of newspaper sections. The reception took place in the members’ only First Cabin restaurant, and featured a delicious meal followed by cigars on the patio overlooking the Newport Harbor. What a fabulous day!

Shauna & Brandon - May 23, 2008 - Laguna Beach
Though an unexpected storm ravaged Southern California in the few days before the wedding, bringing such uncharacteristic elements like hail, torrential downpours and even tornadoes(!) it all stopped just in time for Shauna and Brandon’s beautiful wedding ceremony at Hotel Laguna. Shauna surprised Brandon with a “For Your Eyes Only” album we designed a few weeks ago and by the expression on the groom’s face his eyes loved what he saw. After the ceremony we went to the beach to have some fun and take pictures where the girls were surprised by an unexpected wave. As soon as we were done the heavy rain resumed. How’s that for a bride’s luck?! Inside, the reception was so much fun nobody cared about the weather. The newlyweds are off to Jamaica to soak up the tropical sun. Ya mon!

Roger & Hayley - "TTD" - May 9, 2008
Two days after the wedding we decided to introduce the “trash the dress” concept to the Cook Islands. Everyone on the island we told about it was very surprised at first, but thought it was a fun idea. The day started out very unpromising with gray clouds and rain and made us cancel our original plans for the cruise we had scheduled, but a few hours later we lucked out as it turned out to be a magnificent day with the gorgeous sky reflecting several hundred shades of blue in the lagoon. Annie from Bishop’s Cruises saved the day by providing at the last minute one of their boats to take us out in the lagoon (thank you Annie!) Roger and Hayley were such good sports and had tons of fun with the photo shoot. We think it was the most beautiful location on earth for a “TTD” session; don’t you agree?

Roger & Hayley - May 7, 2008 - Aitutaki, Cook Islands
Roger & Hayley's big day arrived to slightly overcast skies, but at least no rain! This in no way spoiled their happy day and the ceremony on One Foot Island was beautiful. The local dancing girls and musicians enhanced the celebration with a South Pacific tropical island flair. Roger and Hayley have some wonderful memories to start their married lives. Kia manuia (good luck) to the happy couple!
