Once upon a time, a beautiful princess named Ely met a handsome prince named Juan. Princess Ely and Prince Juan fell in love and were married on a beautiful September day amidst family, friends, and kick-ass marichis. After a wonderful honeymoon in Italy, they lived happily ever after. The end.
So, you may wonder what we do in our spare time between weddings, engagement sessions, boudoir sessions, “Trash the Dress” sessions, family portraits, (wait, WHAT spare time?) Well, one of the things we do is design albums. So in the next few weeks we’d like to share some of our favorite album designs with you, starting with Roger & Hayley from the UK. This couple has been together a very long time and were already married in their hearts, but decided to make it official in the most beautiful place on earth. It’s kind of a long story, but we shot their wonderful wedding in Aitutaki (Cook Islands) in May while we were there celebrating our own fifth wedding anniversary. Sometimes life just throws you some unbelievably good stuff! Here are a few pages of their album focusing on their Trash the Dress (TTD) session we shot a couple of days after the actual wedding. Hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed photographing them.
This was our first time shooting at the gorgeous Pala Mesa Resort, but we hope it will not be our last. We found some great picture locations tucked away like hidden gems. Christine & Mark’s wedding was incredibly beautiful and touching, and there was not a dry eye in the place! Christine was a vision of loveliness, looking like a 1940’s Hollywood starlet with her lace mermaid-style gown and birdcage veil. Someone once said a picture is worth a thousand words…so we’ll stop talking now. Following: eleven thousand words.
